The aim of the award, which is representative of LIERAC’s ethical approach, is to reward European scientists for innovative research on new ways of research on cutaneous physiology and to offer them an endowment to help complete the project.

In 2007 - Pr Danielle DHOUAILLY (Gières, FRANCE) for her project on “From stem cells
to dermal cells for improving skin grafts to burned people”.
In 2006 - Dr Johanna Maria BRANDNER (Hamburg, GERMANY) for her project on “Tight
junctions in aging male and female skin”.
In 2005 - Pr Philippe HUMBERT (Besançon, FRANCE) for his project on “Skin, an aging
organ with unknown mechanisms”.
In 2004 - Pr Jens-Mickael JENSEN (Kiel, GERMANY) for his project on “Ceramide
metabolism in epidermal aging”.
